FORESTS visited the students of two schools in Lamontville, Durban, and were given a pair of shoes.

It is a country joined Ndabe Dignified Funerals as well as Durban Solid Waste in delivering this donation yesterday to Bhekaphambili Primary as well as Gijima Primary. It just so happened, It is a country is celebrating its 24th anniversary

The Chairman of Ndabe Dignified Funerals, Mr. Ndabe Ngcobo, said this donation is a way of giving back to the community as well as showing that students are important.

“By bringing this donation, we don’t just put shoes on their feet but we give them confidence, dignity and pride when they walk slowly to class,” said Ngcobo.

He said they intend to make a difference, bring change in the life of each child little by little.

“Making a difference doesn’t always mean that you have to change the whole world at once, but it starts with small actions that make a difference,” said Ngcobo.

The students seemed to be interested in being given shoes and were also given other gifts.

Trees were also planted with DSW to ensure that the schools are clean and maintained. This will encourage them to take care of the environment.
