A South African is one of a group suing Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, and his controversial right-wing associate Milo Yiannopoulos over allegations of racism and other abuses in the workplace.

The group, which also includes several minors, further claims that they were exposed to pornography and that they went unpaid for months of work on a streaming app.

Pholoso Mofokeng, a 20-year-old South African 3D artist, designer, and software engineering student, is one of eight parties to the lawsuit against Ye, Yiannopoulos, and Yeezy, a media and fashion brand linked to Ye.
