WANTS to achieve her dream of becoming one of the most respected women in the country, Mrs Sinempilo Ngubane (40), who is one of those who advanced to the penultimate position in the Mrs South Africa event.

Mrs Ngubane from Pietermaritzburg but now based in Durban, said it was her dream to be one of the ladies who won the title of Miss South Africa, while still studying.

But he says that did not happen as there were strict rules that had to be followed.

This lady, who holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, says she is one of the five left now from this province.

“I started when I was a little girl to participate in different sports events. When I finished my degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, in Mgungundlovu, I won the title of Miss UKZN, and now I wanted to participate in big events, but there were difficulties and I ended up giving up and continuing my studies,” said Mrs. Ngubane.

He stated that even though he is at this age, there is always something telling him that he has a dream that he must fulfill.

“It was then that I realized that this is a big event that I must enter now. I have everything ready to be a part of this event. I am married, I am a mother and there were not many rules, that’s why when the opportunity arose I took both. I am in the penultimate stage now and I am proud of the work I have done,” she said.

He said he encourages women to take care of themselves even if it is too late to do what they wanted.

Having a family and children, he said, makes women forget themselves, and pay more attention to their families.

“I’m just saying that women should not forget themselves, make themselves happy with whatever dreams they’ve been dreaming of since childhood. I hope my happiness will now come true,” she explained.

The event will take place in November in Johannesburg.
