Princess Kate has made her first public appearance since announcing that she completed her chemotherapy earlier this month.
Kate, Prince William and other royal family members were spotted on Sunday attending a service at Crathie Kirk Church near Balmoral Castle in Scotland, according to People.
The Prince of Wales was seen driving a vehicle with Kate in the passenger seat, while King Charles and Queen Camilla were seen in a separate car on their way to the service.
Photographs of Kate’s public appearance were published on news sites like Daily Mail and People.
Kate announced the completion of her chemotherapy in an emotional video uploaded to social media on 9 September. She first shared that she would be going through chemotherapy in March 2024.
“I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” Kate wrote in messages on X and Instagram.
The princess, 42, said the last nine months had been “incredibly tough” for the family – her husband Prince William and their children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6.
“Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown,” she said.
