Yes, seven-figure hatchbacks really are a thing. In addition, there are a handful of models bubbling just under this mark, including the Honda Civic Type R (R999 900), the BMW M135i xDrive (R951 385), the Renault Mégane RS 300 Trophy (R949 999) and the Volkswagen Golf R (R945 100).
Of course, it’s entirely possible to spec the latter model well into seven figures, but we’re focusing on starting prices here.
