President Cyril Ramaphosa may deliver his opening address to Parliament on 18 July, which also marks Nelson Mandela International Day.

According to the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) programme, the date has been proposed for the opening address for both Houses of Parliament.

On Thursday, the NCOP programming committee held its first meeting, during which it deliberated on its programme for the coming weeks.
