Gauteng police have revived an investigation into the 2020 murder of David Xulu, the husband of the nurse who allegedly orchestrated the death of her domestic worker to benefit from three life insurance policies amounting to R6 million.

News24 can exclusively reveal the murder case, which was opened in December 2020 in Alberton, Johannesburg, has been dusted off following the arrest of Sithembile Happiness Xulu, 48, on 12 June at her Vosloorus home in connection with the murder of her domestic worker, Busiswa Nxumalo.

David was murdered on 10 December 2020 after he separated from Sithembile.
