Proteas white-ball coach Rob Walter says explosive wicketkeeper batter Quinton de Kock has not made a call on his future after the T20 World Cup.

De Kock, who shrugged off a slow start on understandably difficult pitches in New York to play a crucial role in the West Indian leg of the tournament, had a resigned and weary look when he walked off the pitch after being dismissed for 39 in the seven-run loss to India in last week’s final at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.

De Kock ditched the red-ball game during the 2021/22 India Test series, from where he hung up his ODI gloves after the 2023 World Cup.
