The principal of Glenvista High School, Thobile Morgan, has admitted fighting among pupils and bullying were big problems at the school.
Morgan was addressing pupils during a parents’ meeting at the Johannesburg school on Tuesday after a video clip of a teacher and two pupils, using a chair and a desk to attack each other in a classroom, went viral last week.
In the clip, a Grade 9 pupil can be seen attempting to throw a punch at the teacher.
