Six recent elections polls have elicited some vastly different results, but they agree on one fundamental outcome: the ANC is unlikely to achieve a majority of more than 50% in the 2024 general elections.
According to the six polls News24 analysed, the ANC could end with anywhere between 38% and 46% of the national support if South Africans headed to the polls today.
While the DA’s performance seems to be stable, lingering between 19% and 23% across the six polls, analysis of the data shows fluctuating support for the EFF between 11% and 18%.
