A PIANIST who is not shy about this role, Nobantu Vilakazi has revealed that living in the city and chasing the things that come easily is one of the things that harms women, especially girls who come to the city.

That is the reason why he decided to release his new song titled Johannesburg Boys, which he hit with DBN Gogo, Lady Du and Tman Xpress. It was first discovered last week, and it conveys a warning message to girls about the risk of harming their health.

Talking toOf this country about this, Nobantu said that although this is a danceable song and beats with the usual rhythm of piano music, he hopes that people who will listen to it and have listened to it will get the main message it conveys.

“It is my way of conveying a warning to girls, especially those who come to big cities, not to allow themselves to be easily seduced by men with the glamor of beautiful, fast and sweet things with the intention of using them and throwing them away like that.

“That is the situation that I grew up seeing happen in front of me. I have seen many people being disturbed in their lives because of not realizing such situations that are happening. That is why I felt it is important to reprimand and warn with a song,” he said.

He thanked the producers who participated in making this song a success namely Felo Le Tee, Fakewell and Souljam; as well as DBN Gogo – who he said was the one who gave him the authority to take it as his own after hearing its beat in his studio last year.

This artist, who hails from Soweto, Gauteng, revealed that the release of this song is the beginning of a lot of work that she will release this year. He said that he has already started cooking the music that he will be releasing gradually over the course of the year.

Apart from this song, Nobantu is known for many hit songs in this role including iOpen your mouth with Musa Keys, Data kaDJ Tira, Fire kaMas Music, Salt kaScorpion Kings, They know kaSjavasDaDeeejay neSoke Sbone by DJ Stokie.
