Proteas all-rounder Marco Jansen feels that South Africa’s near-perfect performance in their victory over Afghanistan in the T20 World Cup semi-final has shaken the “chokers” label that has followed teams in South African cricket’s cursed past in ICC events.

In the early hours of Thursday morning (SA time), the Proteas delivered a clinical performance with a nine-wicket win over Afghanistan, playing in their first World Cup semi-final, to book their place in their first-ever World Cup final.
