Having a voracious appetite for reading from a young age has held Olwanda Majozi in good stead – she was placed sixth in the world for the Cambridge International AS Level English language. 

She was also named top achiever for the subject in South Africa.

The first-year student, who is registered for a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of the Witwatersrand, became hooked on reading from childhood after her parents read to her the popular children’s book, Dr Seuss, as well as The Cat in the Hat, among others.
