For a harrowing 25 minutes, six exhausted men, on their way home from their night shifts, huddled beneath the seats of a blood-stained taxi, their heads covered, praying they would survive to see their families again. 

But that was only the start of their ordeal.

The officers then allegedly dragged the injured men from the taxi and subjected them to a merciless beating, striking them with the butts of their firearms.
