While the search for missing Joshlin Smith was under way in February last year, the child’s mother, Racquel “Kelly” Smith, told her sister that the little girl was in the Middlepos informal settlement and that someone wanted to sell the child but that it was “too heated” in the community, the Western Cape High Court has heard.
