Rene van Willing said her daughter, Bronwin, 18, went to the shop after she had asked for R10 from a family member to buy sweets so she could film a TikTok video with her friends in their backyard. Bronwin never made it back home as she was shot and wounded while queuing outside the tuck shop on Junker Street.
