LADY from Nanda, Naledi Aphiwe has finally apologized for what she said when the world famous cathamiya group, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, won three awards at the last Metro FM Music Awards.

Mambazo won the awards that Naledi Aphiwe was looking forward to in this event which was proven by the way he persuaded people to vote for him.

Having not received a single award, he expressed that he did not feel good about Mambazo’s win, and asked who voted for it since the singers are just old men.

“We congratulate the great Mambazo. It means that the grandmothers were voting from the grave. What is Ladysmith,” said Naledi.

Naledi was criticized by many for speaking in this way, it was said that he was disrespecting these veterans who have done a great job by raising the country’s flag in the world.

At the weekend, at an event in Mpumalanga, Naledi said that sometimes she realizes that she sometimes speaks without thinking, which she apologizes for.

“Some things I do out of anger and speak without thinking about the future. I know what I said, I shouldn’t have said it. For that, I am very sorry to the adults for the way I spoke. Sometimes it is very sad that you don’t get something you worked hard for, I was in that situation too. I apologize to the fathers and grandfathers of Black Mambazo, I hope they will forgive me and I ask for their support,” said Naledi.

He said that some of the people criticizing him for this are the fans of the lady who came second in the showBig Brother MzansiThandeka Tshabalala, don’t regret teasing them as she was happy that this lady didn’t get R2 million for the program.

He said he is asking for support from fans who like his music, and others who are fans of this group, who may not like him.

Soon he said that there is a song that they are cooking with the new singer Spikili, who will announce its plans later.

Naledi and Zee Nxumalo are the artists who were criticized the most for not winning this event as they were nominated in many contests, but they walked away waving their hands.
