Metro FM has just announced a new line-up for 2026/27 featuring popular favorites joining the station. Nomuzi ‘Moozlie’ Mabena and Siyabonga ‘Scoop’ Ngwekazi, will co-host the weekend programme.

The duo will host a new lifestyle show, Lift Off, which will air on Fridays between 7:00 and 10 pm, and Saturdays from 6 pm to 9 pm. Which promises to be a program that will keep Mzansi on its feet on Saturday nights.

Scoop, who hosted the show at the Metro FM Awards last year alongside Luthando ‘Lootlove’ Shosha, is not new to entertainment, as some will remember him on the show Forever Young alongside Thomas Gumede and Lungile Radu, and he has broadcast on YFM and on the Internet radio, Touch Central.

There are also newcomers joining this radio giant. One of them is Ricardo Genesis, a rising star from VOW FM. He steps into the shoes of Ismail Abrahams who left the station to do other things. Mvangeli Nzuza also joins the big afternoon program as a road presenter. Newsreader, Paulette Neo Kayise will switch to the weekend news.

“As Metro FM turns 40, our aim is not to change what is already working, but to celebrate the brand’s journey with the talent we have helped to shape over the years, while adding strategies that strengthen our campaign,” said Metro FM’s Business Manager, Kina Nhlengethwa.

“These new voices join an already strong group and support the radio’s continued communication with its listeners,” concluded Nhlengethwa.
