THE LEADER of the March and March organisation, Mrs Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma, has come out publicly and said that she is not interested in those who say that the organization is a stockpile of the former president of the country, Mr Jacob Zuma.

He said he knows there are people who will say this because of being part of the march of the MKP group in Durban, yesterday.

“I know there are those who will say that this organization is Zuma’s stokofela. I don’t care what they say, they can go and die. We will not talk about things because it will be said that we are with MKP. I will continue to speak in gatherings with MKP people. Of course, I am also from Zuma, it is okay if it is said that we are Zuma’s stokofel,” he said.

Saying this while speaking to MKP members in this full march at City Hall, the list was accepted by the Mayor of Durban, Mr. Cyril Xaba. He urged the young people not to make a mistake when they vote on November 4.

“Thank you to the MKP for fighting for our demands. On November 4th, don’t do anything stupid, don’t make mistakes. We are fighting because of mistakes, we don’t want them anymore. What is ours will return to us.”

He urged people not to talk to councilors or the government because they are the ones who vote.

“We were whispering before, now let’s not stop this. We are not whispering to anyone now. That is why we have lived for so many years without getting the things we want. The councilor must whisper to us because we are the ones who vote. A councilor who loses his job should go with those who are leaving on the 30th (June).”

He said that when they come to campaign people take food and make a braai with it.

“If you are given a scoop, wipe it with it when you are dirty. Take your food and be quiet but on the 4th, do the right thing. If you are told to shoot how you voted, tell them that it is not allowed,” he said.

MKP Secretary General, Mr. Sibonelo Nomvalo, told the marchers that they will take over the Thekwini Municipality. He said the time for thieves is over as the months before the election are counting down.

“We will investigate corruption in Durban, when we find corruption we will call Mkhwanazi (Lieutenant-General Good luck) to arrest the thieves. We will also evict their girlfriends who hire themselves from the council,” he said.

He said MKP members who sit on the committee responsible for the operation of government finances in Parliament, Scopa, revealed the corruption that happened in this municipality.

“We are asking them to stop making the council a stockpile of the Congress. They should stop using the EPWP system to persuade people to vote for the ANC. What we are seeing is that EPWP workers are being forced to wear ANC t-shirts.”

He complained about the motivation in the distribution of needs to the people as there is a water problem in this council.
