There are high hopes for the organisers of the Durban July as they seek to increase attendance at this year’s event.
The Durban July, which dates back to 1897, takes place at the Greyville Racecourse and has been dubbed Africa’s biggest horseracing affair.
Devin Heffer, of Hollywoodbets, which has been sponsoring the event since 2022, said early indications suggested that this year’s event was going to be successful.
