Western Cape police have arrested two more suspects following the shooting of a Cape Town police officer on Monday.

Police spokesperson Captain Frederick van Wyk said a 30-year-old man, accompanied by his lawyer, handed himself over at the Maitland police station. 

On Tuesday, the police’s anti-gang unit also arrested a man whose firearm was suspected to be linked to the shooting that left the officer with severe injuries.
