Air transport rating organisation Skytrax has announced its top airlines for 2024 at a gala event on Monday, widely regarded as the aviation industry’s Oscars.
Last year’s winner, Singapore Airlines, dropped to second place and was usurped by rival Qatar Airways. Emirates, All Nippon Airways, and Cathay Pacific Airways rounded out the top five.
This is the eighth time that Qatar Airways has won the award. And this year, it also came out tops for its business class offering, business class lounge and as the best airline in the Middle East.
