André Schwartz has been a well-known name in South Africa for decades.
Not only is he known for hits such as “Love everything here” and “I don’t want to see you again”, but there are also those who consider his portrayal of the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera is one of the best to date.
Today, André still does not sit still. He fully lives out his passion for music and the arts.
As part of the Naledi festival panel, he visits theaters and watches plays and musical productions that blow his mind, and in the meantime he is still flourishing on stage himself.
André will soon be seen at the Klein Karoo National Arts Festival in Oudtshoorn in his debut production, The chronicles of Buks. He also takes the production Just a little love to the Suidoosterfees in Cape Town.
