The man accused of the rape and murder of Kirsten Kluyts appeared in the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court on Friday for the final day of his bail application.
The question of whether or not Kirsten Kluyts was raped was once again addressed in the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
A 21-year-old student, who can no longer be named since the State added the rape charge, was back in court for the finalisation of his bail application, which has taken five days to complete.
The defence argued that because there was no injury found on the deceased, the rape charge should be dropped.
