The DStv Delicious Food and Music Festival, known for its fusion of world-class culinary experiences and show-stopping performances, now faces uncertainty surrounding one of its main acts, Janet Jackson.

On Monday, festival organisers issued a statement in reaction to news of the untimely death of Janet’s brother, Tito Jackson. This has understandably raised concerns about her headlining appearance at this year’s event scheduled for the same week.

In a statement, the festival acknowledged the profound loss, extending their deepest condolences to the entire Jackson family. They confirmed that while no decision has been made about Janet Jackson’s performance, they are in ongoing communication with her team.

“We kindly ask for sensitivity and understanding during this period,” the organisers urged, promising to keep the public updated as soon as new information becomes available.
