KOHLISANE was armed yesterday among the officials of the Electoral Commission in this country, as well as the leadership of the MKP party as next month it is expected that a case will be filed regarding the dissatisfaction of this party with the results of the 2024 elections.

The leaders of the Commission are in the process of meeting with different organizations including political parties, as there will be local government elections on November 4, this year. The officials of the Commission are reprimanding it from KwaZulu-Natal as they recently met with Silo sama Zulu, as well as other agencies.

Commission officials led by the Chairman Mr Mosotho Moepya, met with MKP leaders including its president Jacob Zuma, at his home in Dakudunuse in Nkandla.

In the Commission’s statement before traveling to Nkandla, it was revealed that the purpose is to consult with various agencies including the provincial Premier Mr. Thami Ntuli.

We said that in these meetings, different matters affecting the will of the people, encouraging people to vote and other matters affecting the election are discussed.

“We are just meeting with the MKP, there is still a case regarding the 2024 elections. The MKP is complaining about many things and this matter will be heard in court in June. Zuma recently proposed that the elections be postponed because they still have complaints,” the Commission said in a statement.

It said it rejects the postponement of the election.

“We are encouraged by the cooperation that exists in different organizations as it will be voted on,” said the Commission.

After the meeting, Mbube urged the people to come out in large numbers to vote in this election.
