Simthande Myeza (29) HAS A DESIRE to become one of the biggest producers in television shows, these days he is back in high gear, by recording funny videos and posting them on social media.

Simthande, a native of Nkandla, and known as MakaTha, is often seen working with other colleagues in the industry to record videos that attract people’s attention on social media.

Speaking toSolezHe stated that he is still adamant that young people, if they have skills, should not sleep in using social media, as there is money that they can make a living with even if they are not working.

He said, he started playing and pasting his videos on the social networking site Facebook, which ended up spreading to others.

“I saw the power of recording videos using the art that we grew up watching from our parents, and then posting them on social media. Doing this opened up opportunities for me to work with people I didn’t see myself working with one day, it didn’t end there because it also opened up other opportunities for me that I watched from afar as I am now part of the game use itoh,” he explained.

He said a lot of what people see when he acts is what he picked up from his mother when he was growing up.

“My mother is something I saw in her, which I am using now. Even though I have been working at Khwezi FM for many years, she taught me a lot, which I am using now. I do not regret leaving everything behind to face my job that I am doing now because the money is there. I earned R15 000 for the first time through social media, so you can imagine now how much money I make. I have a car, I support myself at home, social media is what I can say,” he explained.

He revealed that on April 5, he will host the program at the Vukile Gospel Festival, which will be held at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Stadium in Port Shepstone.

At this event, he said that people do not expect jokes as he and the organizer of the event, Mjosti, have planned to crack jokes. They work together these days.

On social media, they are the talk of the town as they appear as married people who always seem to have problems.
