The back-and-forth between allies Israel and the US and Iran continues and the focus over the next few days will remain on the Strait of Hormuz.
The USA’s focus has shifted: It is now about securing the strait and driving Iran out of it. There is little left of Iran’s navy, but it may take a few weeks to secure the strategic strait, says Jaco Kleynhans, head of international liaison at the Solidarity Movement.
In the USA there is a growing feeling that the operation must end within weeks. How long is the Americans’ patience?
