Bulls No 8 Cameron Hanekom’s hopes of making his Springbok debut in the Ireland series have been dashed by a hamstring injury.
Hanekom was a star for the Bulls during their run to the URC final and was widely tipped to get a call-up to Rassie Erasmus’ Bok squad.
The 22-year-old suffered the injury during the Bulls’ URC final loss to Glasgow Warriors on Saturday and was replaced by Nizaam Carr.
