A bailiff was shot and killed in Mzomusha, Nanda on Friday when we were leaving where we were delivering documents for court protection.

The deceased, Mr Andy Ngcobo (44), It’s on the weekend found out that he had gone to give documents to a certain man. However, it turns out that he didn’t find her at home, and he returned there for the third time.

The documents appear to be about the case of cardiologist Dr. Ntando Duze who is suspended at the Westville hospital who has filed a case of threats to the police by someone who calls himself an ox telling him to break up with the person to whom the documents were sent.

KwaZulu Natal police spokesperson, Colonel Robert Netshiunda confirmed that there is a case of intimidation filed by a man in Mbilo.

”It turns out that a man has been kidnapped by another person he doesn’t know,” he explained.

It’s on the weekend has seen the papers with Dr. Duze’s name written on them and that of the undisclosed man who was Duze’s patient in the past.

The two ended up having a disagreement as Duze accused the patient of going on television to testify falsely about him.

It will be remembered that the case of Duze became a topic of conversation last year as there were protests outside the hospital by patients accusing the hospital of stopping Duze suddenly.

They set themselves up with the title that they should stand out, not to be outdone by the appointment of Duze, who believe that he is the best cardiologist in KwaZulu-Natal.

When contacted, Westville said it was still investigating the matter. Ngcobo’s death has raised the eyebrows of many.

It’s on the weekend spoke to Mr. Nicholas Nxumalo who runs the company where Ngcobo worked. He said the person he called Ngcobo’s death was killed and described him as an honest worker who worked hard and loved his job.

“We are very saddened by the killing of Ngcobo,” he said. He stated that his killing left many questions because even when he was shot, the family of the deceased told them that there was no blood.

He said the deceased told them that on Friday when she saw that her husband did not return home, she called him and found that it was closed.

”But the next day, when he called it again, they found out that he had died, and the person who answered it shouted at them with all kinds of insults, which they said scared them a lot,” he explained.

Continuing, he said that there was another colleague who called the deceased’s phone after he was killed and someone else picked it up.

All this he said makes them wonder what is going on? He says that one of the things that confuses them is that they found out from the deceased that the deceased had warned them not to stop at the place where he was killed and he was listening to them.

”You also see, someone can come and warn you not to stop in that place, but he is said to have been killed in that place. There is something confusing here,” he says.

He revealed that there was a woman who came to him at the office and told them that he had heard about the accused and told them that Ngcobo had someone who was supposed to give him the court papers.

However, he said he will sit down with his staff and take a closer look at all of Ngcobo’s recent work.

KwaZulu Natal police spokesperson, Sergeant Thenjiswa Ngcobo, confirmed the killing of Ngcobo. He said the police in Nanda have opened a case for the murder of a man. ”It turns out that the man was shot by an unknown person near Mzomusha,” he said.
