Diamond dealer Louis Liebenberg, a funder of former president Jacob Zuma, on Thursday unveiled his plans for the upcoming elections, in which he will run as an independent candidate in Gauteng and the Free State.

His political party will be known as Herbou [Rebuild] but will not contest this year’s elections.

Liebenberg, who has given millions of rand to Zuma, said it was time to unseat President Cyril Ramaphosa.
