Some parts of Cape Town were flooded following heavy rainfall on Wednesday.

City of Cape Town’s Disaster Risk Management spokesperson Sonica Lategan said officials were busy with assessments to determine damages, including in Khayelitsha (SST, BM, Tutu Sections and Green Point Phase 3 and 4)

“Forty-three structures had been flooded in Vygieskraal, affecting 170 people. Flooding was also reported at a block of flats in Tableview and another in Sea Point,” she said.
