A comedian and author of the book From Prison To Palace, Sithembiso “Pro” Ndlovu will use the comedy event to bring together different and well-known comedians, including his birthday celebration.

Pro (34) from Sweetwaters, Pietermaritzburg will bring people together on Friday at this event which will be held at The Stable Theatre, Durban from 7 in the evening, where entry will be R150 and R300 at the door.

In an interview with Solezwe about the From Prison To Palace Comedy Show, which he will be doing for the first time this year, he said that although it is one of the ways he uses to celebrate his birthday, it is also a way he sees fit to bring comedians together.

“I have noticed that many well-known comedians tend to do their events individually, which means that the people they love can no longer see them together as it used to happen in the past years, that’s why I thought it was good to use this day to gather them together,” said Pro.

In this comedy show, the audience will laugh until their jaws drop as Justice Kubheka, Simphiwe Shembe, Flymotion, Amawele Amawele Ase Chesterville, Ndlebe Kapteni, Gqonq, Mmangaliso, Master Nuh, Moemish, Hallo M, Mshini Ntuli and DJ Twitty.

“And I will also have the opportunity to talk about my book that came out last year, which I started writing while I was still in prison in 2019 where I was convicted of murder which was finally overturned in 2024 when it became clear that I was arrested,” he said.

This artist is not new to this role as in 2015 he was nominated in the category of Best Gospel Comedy at the Crown Gospel Music Awards. He urged people to come out in large numbers to see for themselves the spectacle that they were looking to entertain the audience with at the event.
