Sifiso Mkhwanazi appeared before the Gauteng High Court, sitting in Palm Ridge.
The father of the man who admitted to killing six Johannesburg sex workers claimed his son confessed that he killed the women in “an act of revenge”.
Testifying in the Gauteng High Court sitting in Palm Ridge, Mark Khumalo claimed that his 21-year-old son Sifiso Mkhwanazi had confessed this to him when they met at the Johannesburg Central police station some days after his arrest.
“I didn’t force him to confess to me. I asked him what had happened, and he told me what he did. Had he said he didn’t do it, I would have believed him,” Khumalo added.
