The singer and her rapper boyfriend recently shared the first photos revealing their son Halo’s face during a family trip to Italy.

In the photos shared on Bailey’s Instagram account, the family of three are pictured on a dock in full glam with the caption: “Halo’s first time in Italy.”

DDG also shared several snaps on his account with the caption: “La familia who Halo look like more? [sic]”

According to Essence, the couple is in Europe for Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda events.

The couple—who made their relationship official in March 2022—discreetly welcomed their baby boy last year, having kept the pregnancy private.

During the Black Women in Hollywood Awards in March, the Little Mermaid actor explained in her speech why she chose to keep her pregnancy and her son’s birth away from the public eye.

“We are Black women in entertainment, and although we signed up for the challenges of the spotlight, in this current climate, that spotlight burns brighter, hotter, and uninterrupted, whereas the scrutiny of its magnification leaves no concealment,” she told the room reported People.

She added:

There was no way in hell I was going to share the biggest joy of my world with anyone. Halo was my gift. He is the greatest blessing, and I had no obligation to expose him, me, or my family to that.

In April, the 24-year-old shared a video discussing her struggle with postpartum depression and separation anxiety.

“I feel like a completely different person when I look in the mirror. I just feel like I’m in a whole new body, and I don’t know who I am,” she said in the video.

Bailey confessed that she hadn’t fully grasped the challenges of motherhood until experiencing them firsthand, emphasising that her mental health struggles are not related to her son Halo.

“It has nothing to do with my baby. It has everything to do with me and who I am right now.”
