Barely a day after she was killed, when a bullet went through her boyfriend’s neck and hit her in the head, Marlene Prinsloo’s two toddlers have been frantically calling for their mom.
Prinsloo, 27, was a passenger in her boyfriend’s tow truck when he got a call at the weekend to tow a car stuck in the sand at King’s Beach in Gqeberha.
However, what was meant to be a quick job turned into a tragedy. Instead of paying the R800 that Prinsloo’s boyfriend, Juan Landsberg, had quoted for the tow, the perpetrators lured the couple into a local township and shot at them.
