Over the next two weeks, the ANC in Gauteng will try to convince voters, who form part of the 35% of undecided voters, to vote for it on 29 May.

The strategy includes intensifying voter contact and to bring back to the fold “professionals” who are mulling voting for other parties.

The ANC also believes it still has a chance with first-time voters, the party’s provincial head of elections, Lebogang Maile, told News24.
