A former Mpumalanga finance MEC accused of raping his minor daughters has been found not guilty.

The 50-year-old man, who cannot be named to protect the identity of the victims, appeared in the Nelspruit Sexual Offences Court alongside his 30-year-old stepson on Tuesday, where judgment was handed down.

They each faced a charge of rape, while the former MEC faced an additional charge of child abuse.
