Eskom cancelled its controversial tender to appoint a service provider to build a new corporate identity for the Eskom group of companies in March. This included designing a new logo for the utility.

The media desk told News24 the cancellation was “due to a change in business requirements”.

The media desk said that the National Transmission Company of South Africa (NTCSA) would mostly adhere to the existing Eskom corporate identity and that the interim branding for the NTCSA had been done in-house.
