An Eskom employee and a service provider face charges of theft and fraud for allegedly colluding in the stealing of Eskom infrastructure and later supplying the same items back to the utility through a tender.

The two made separate appearances in the Hendrina Magistrate’s Court in Mpumalanga last week where they were each granted bail of R30 000.

Their names were not immediately available.
