MAMELODI Sundowns once again entered the final of the Caf Champions League defeating the Tunisian team, Esperance 1-0 in the second leg of the semi-final at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday afternoon.

The Sandawanas went into this game leading 1-0 with a goal scored by Bryan Leon in the first leg.

The striker from Colombia is the one who once again broke the hearts of Esperance in Pretoria with a goal that he blocked in the net after the goalkeeper blocked his penalty.

The Brazilians will return to the finals of the Champions League for two seasons in a row, since they entered the previous one and were defeated by Pyramids of Egypt 3-2 after combining both legs.

The passing of Miguel Cardoso means that they are still in a position to become African champions for the first time since they finished in 2016.

In the final they will face the winner between two Moroccan teams, AS Far and RS Berkane.
