VETERAN DJ and recording studio manager, DJ Tira, says he doesn’t look at what kind of music a person sings to help him.

DJ Tira who is the manager of the Afrotainment company said this after launching the Celestral Chorus and Great Tour event in Sandton on Thursday night.

The event is the cycle of Zimbabwean singer, Everton Mlalazi, which will be held at Carnival City, Johannesburg, on March 21.

“I like to develop talent,” said DJ Tira who is part of the event.

“It doesn’t matter what kind of music you do, but if we find each other and can work together, let’s work and include others who want to enter music.”

Mlalazi, who won the award for Best of Africa at the Crown Gospel Music Awards in 2024, has just released a new albumIn The Presence 3: Great God.

At his event, he will be accompanied by a 100-member symphonic band. Those who will be performing include Mthunzi Namba, Sindi Ntombela, Mpumi Mtsweni, Dumi Mkokstad and others.

The event starts at 6pm and entry is free.
