It is likely that South Africa will have disinformation in the coming elections.
Misinformation and disinformation are not a likelihood but a certainty in the run-up to this year’s general election, and they pose a clear threat to democracy.

Lubisi-Nkosinkulu said democracy is under threat, and South Africa is dealing with unprecedented threats, as analysts predict that the upcoming elections will be one of the most crucial and potentially aggressive election periods in our young democracy.
