Erstwhile advocate Malesela Teffo has applied for leave to appeal the Gauteng High Court ruling that saw him struck from the roll of advocates.
While the case was set down to be argued last Thursday, the application was not heard because the Legal Practice Council (LPC), opposing the matter, raised two points in limine.
A point in limine is an objection raised before the commencement of legal proceedings, in this case, Teffo’s leave to appeal application.
