THE LEADER of the Home of the Disciples of Jesus in KwaMaphumulo, Rev. Vusimuzi Sibiya, said that he does not fully agree with the statement made by the Minister of Health in KwaZulu-Natal, Ms. Nomagugu Simelane, who accused people of not stopping their anti-HIV drugs.

Ms Simelane speaking at the Easter service in the church, the United Congregational Church of Southern Africa (UCCSA), stated that she does not agree with making Disciples of Jesus.

”I have heard, Master, that there are people who have chosen to live alone, saying that they are separated from the things of the world. These people are said to have quit their jobs and given up everything, the sad thing is that they also left the anti-HIV drugs. We, as the Ministry of Health, do not agree with this at all,” he said.

Although he is speaking like this, Sibiya said that all the accusers are made to have very little knowledge when it comes to the Kingdom of Heaven, which he said they were lucky to be revealed about while on earth.

”It’s the way he looks and thinks, but that doesn’t mean that what we’re doing now will stop. We will not stop! Here we are doing something we believe in and which is God’s command. We don’t do a single thing because here we are just doing it for ourselves,” he explained.

Continuing, he said that it is foolish for people to stop taking the drugs that prevent the AIDS virus, and he said that people chose to stop taking the pills because they believe in God who has the power to do everything.

”It is not true that we stopped people from taking AIDS pills. People found the truth about God who heals beyond pills, and then they saw the path they should take – they can waste time – they just do it,” he says.

He said that no matter how much commotion comes to them, that will never make them doubt the power of the God they worship.

”We know the God we worship is powerful and truly surpasses them and these are the pills that are being talked about in the world,” he explained.

It will be remembered that Sibiya also revealed that they do not go to hospitals, rather a person is prayed for until he dies. He said they did this because they understood that their God is invincible and overcomes circumstances.
