Wednesday night meetings were “make or break” as President Cyril Ramaphosa presented his final Cabinet offers to government of national unity (GNU) partners. 

News24 understands that if parties reject the ministerial and deputy ministerial posts offered, the president will use his constitutional powers to appoint whoever he wants to his Cabinet, most likely on Thursday.

According to Section 91 (1) and (2) of the Constitution, the Cabinet consists of the president as the head, a deputy president and ministers.
