PART of the celebrities from different fields in the country came out in public and praised the bravery of the citizens who came out in large numbers in the flood of protests that were held in different places across the country yesterday.

This protest, which had been predicted for a long time in the country, was led by the March and March organization led by former Vuma FM presenter Mrs. Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma and supported by Nkosikhona Ndabandaba known as Phakel’ the witch and former Khozi FM presenter Ngizwe Mchunu.

People came from all walks of life across the country and in different cities, the most prominent of which were those who were protesting in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town – which was done with the aim of fighting against illegal immigrants.

A podcaster who is famous for having opinions on the different situations facing the country, Penuel The Black Pen Mlotshwa, wrote: “Our people will not stop protesting until our land returns to its owners, until the ownership of the mines returns to the government in full. It is because we have the power to control the economy, it is because the government stops fulfilling the goals of those who do not help us. It is good and exciting to see young people marching, fighting for change. Forward with the struggle, forward!”

The religious singer Ntokozo Ngongoma who was at the march in Durban commented: “I am coming to represent our people, I am not here artistically because I am one of these situations facing the whole country, it also affects me. I emphasize that I support this idea and I see no fault in it. We say that the government has strengthened the law that will make these situations that make us sad in our country right, so that we can also develop our economy – which is prevented because our government is too lax in many things.”

Ayanda Ntanzi, another religious singer who was in Durban, said: “I also saw the importance of sharing with our people because I also live in this world where there are situations that disturb our people. Apart from being a celebrity – I am no different from other people who face many situations that torture us, most of which are caused by the fact that there are people who enter our country illegally.”

The famous traditional healer Mzimbokhal’ imali Dlamini said: “We are fighting to fight for our country, and we are asking people who are in the country illegally – to return to their countries. However, we do not encourage violence because we do not want the good thing we are doing to be seen, we will only express our dissatisfaction with what we see going wrong in our country.”

The Chairman of Action SA KwaZulu-Natal, Mr. Zwakele Mncwango said: “We have come here because we are also going to express that we are tired of being ruled by people who travel illegally in our country. This protest has started to clearly show how bad things are in the country, so we urge our people to build on this and fix this situation by standing up and seizing the opportunities that will arise to make a living – then there will be a gap and a big gap if we are left alone.”
