“Yasis man, I’ve never been happier to open my taps,” a Cape Flats resident said after water was finally restored by the City of Cape Town following a planned outage which lasted three days.

Twenty-two areas were affected. 

On Monday, the City’s Water and Sanitation Directorate shut down taps to the areas to allow for essential maintenance to its water supply network.
