Bulls loose forward Mpilo Gumede has been called up to the Springbok training squad after winger Cheslin Kolbe was released on Monday morning due to an injury concern.
Two-time World Cup winner Kolbe, who joined his national teammates at camp in Pretoria on Sunday evening after being named in the 35-man training squad ahead of the Wales Test on 22 June, will undergo a medical examination to determine the extent of a knee niggle he picked up during his club season with Suntory Sungoliath in Japan.
