Sophie Ndaba might have bid her character as Queen Moroka farewell almost a decade ago when she formed part of the 16 striking actors fired from Generations in August 2014, but the name has continued to follow her throughout the years.

Preparing for yet another return to screens since leaving the soapie, the award-winning actor described her newest character, Charity, in the brand new Showmax drama series, 016FM, as “very, very different” to the one many once knew as the face of New Horizons and Ezweni Communications.

“Charity is a very different character, very different personality, confident, wealthy and community orientated. That’s the difference between her and the other personality that everybody loves so much and has never forgotten,” Ndaba told News24.
